Where I tell about the times of my life
Where I tell about the times of my life

So I called my doctors office today, to reschedule an appt I canceled and never rebooked because of transpo issues. They gave me two options, tomorrow or a date in December.
Now okay, I have noting going on tomorrow, I would gladly take the date tomorrow to get it out of the day, yes, BUT I DON”T FUCKING DRIVE :< *grr* and when I tell the people to hold on a min, while to IM a friend, they get all pissy and finger tappy and shit, so I just take the date in December.
Health Care people are suppose to care, they claim to care, they help in some ways, but blow you of in others by saying “Try harder” “Take a bus” “Take a cab” wtf? No buses from here to Manchester, Cabs cost $40 each way.
Seriously?
Seriously?

Many people keep asking me, why I am in NH, or why am I stuck here, and things of that nature.
Basically, Lets put it this way, I dropped out of high school (Those in Buffalo – Hutch Tech, those who are not, it is a magnet high school), but my last day of high-school, after summer school was 8/15/2005, I got my GED 10/19/2005, or was tested for it, got it in Nov/2005, and was in College in Jan of 2006. I had a 3.5 or 3.85 GPA and I have 32 credits I believe, ah yes a 3.65 GPA (On the Deans list for my last two semesters as well.)
I was offered a full ride at a 4-year university in Winter of 2006/2007. On my GED, I got high scores in everything expect language arts – writing. But that changed in college, B+ in college comp, but I had a A+ on my final paper, and a B+ in Lit, all of my other classes I either got As in, or withdrew from.
Now with that much said, I gave up this educational venture to move to NH in Aug of 2007, for my ex, who dumped me two months after moving here.
I do not know how to drive, in Buffalo, NY (where I was born), I didn’t need to because of the public transportation system that spanned from Niagara Falls, down to Jamestown (Near PA), and I lived on a main line. It only cost $68 a month for a bus pass, which was a lot cheaper than driving, and because of my living situation at the time, learning how to drive wasn’t a good option.
My ex was supposed to teach me how to drive ~ side note.
So I live in a town in NH, that is 10-25 miles from any public transportation, so I have to walk or take a taxi everywhere. Now Taxi’s are very expensive here, $10 one way for about 3 miles, even in town.
I have no in-town friends, besides the one I live with, so rides are *not* an option.
You may ask how I survived for three years; the first two years I was working at a local retailer, but I was let go under shaky circumstances (Dating it in-case you want to know, June 2009). I have had two seasonal jobs since then, but I haven’t been able to find one since New Years Eve ’09.
I have been on unemployment since I was let go in 2009, but that was re-certified this year, and it was cut $120 a week, leaving me only enough money to pay rent, and have $10 maybe $20 left over for anything else.
Yes, I have been looking for a job, yes I have been proactive, and yes I have been doing everything I can.
So please stop asking me, unless you can help. I love you all, but after a year and a half of it, I am tired, oh so tired.
Thanks every so much, you know I love you <3

So our new modem came today!!! As I mentioned on my previous post “Internet Woes” I can’t say, I am not surprised, I was expecting another classic “We are patching stuff up” on the phone companies side but no. After a snag or two with the setup in the interface (no paperwork) instantly our speeds went from at most 0.80 Mbps (800Kbps or commonly 100Kb/s) to 2.80Mbps (2804Kbps/350.50KB/s) when our package an download speed of 3.36Mbps (420.00KB/s) and upload speed of 864Kbps (108 KB/s)
I am very very impressed to say the lest. I am trying to get my roommates to up the package to the 7Mbps since we know it is the modem that made the difference, that way, HD streaming can rock our socks.

Howdy,
Many things have happened over the past few months, and well the past year since I have really updated with anything definitative. As many know, I lost my job with Wal-Mart in early June (the 11th), for reasons I don’t want to go into. I spent most of that month, and July job searching. I found a job at Stop & Shop (where I used to work, when I first moved here) on Sun July 26th. I have had some fun though!! During the Memorial Day weekend I went camping with some local friends up in Maine, outside of Bath. We did the same thing this past Labor Day! I have also bought a new netbook; An Acer Aspire One 751h-1279 — Intel® Atom™ Processor Z520 (1.33 GHz); 2GB DDR2 667 SDRAM; 250GB hard drive, multi-in-one card reader; 11.6″ WXGA (1366 x 768) TFT display, Acer® CrystalBrite Technology; Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 500; 802.11b/g WLAN, 10/100 LAN, webcam; sapphire blue chassis; three-cell battery. Well… I can’t think of anything else right now… I am failing at writing, which is why I haven’t posted lately. Anyways. I hope to hear from everyone soon! Also, I plan on migrating screen names soon, so make sure everyone gets me there screen names… My “new” contact information is below, twitter and FB is the same, but I am migrating to more professional AIM/MSN/Y!.
