Hallo,
I just got done with a time old tradition that every college student has to do, each semester. ‘What is this?’ You may ask? The act of buying your Text Books for the semester.. Yes another semester and another half grand to the school.
Macroeconomics (ISBN: 0-618-37254-7) Used $79.50
Accounting (ISBN: 0-324-1880-5) Used $112.25
Accounting workbook (ISBN: 0-324-20375-6) Used $37.25
Algebra & Trigonometry (w/ Study Pack) (ISBN: 0-13-143073-4) Used $98.00
Algebra & Trigonometry Review (ISBN: 0-13-149046-x) Used (included with text)
Algebra & Trigonometry Solutions Guide Used (ISBN: 0-13-143079-3) (included with text)
St Martin’s Guide to Writing (ISBN: 0-312-40052-7) Used $53.25
Public Speaking (w/ CD) (ISBN: 0-618-62443-0) New $80.50
That is for a total of $460.75, at least the state were decent enough not to charge taxes on textbooks (http://www.tax.state.ny.us/pubs_and_bulls/html/memos/sales/tsbm98_4s.htm)..
I would like to know why textbooks cost so much money… WHY??? Oh well. I am finishing up some computer work in the Lab at school, then I am heading to Kimi’s to hang out..
Peace
Josh
