Hey!! My website is hosted with Dreamhost and they have estimated in their daily output in the line of duty (papers, servers, etc…) that they output about the amount of carbon dioxide as 545 average-size homes. So they realized they had to do something!! Since they can not use the wind or solar power, they purchase Renewable Energy Credits and Carbon Credits, these credits help verify they are energy efficient and Carbon Neutral, plus that they cut there carbon output and help the money helps pay for funding further emission reduction and renewable energy projects. to find more information about it click !
