Sun, Moon and Stars

I am the moon; you are the sun with stars in your eyes. My nights are
dark, but your make them sunny no matter how dark they are. You shine
through with your smile. Your laugh make me melt, and you antics that make
you, you.
I am the moon; you are the sun no matter how dark I am, you always shine
through and make life work living. One word, one smile, one laugh, one
touch, just one thing, can undo so many things that others may have
done, things that make everything dark.
I am the moon; you are the sun, I will grow dark, but you will always
shine with stars in your eyes, and in your smile, no matter how dark
life maybe, just one thing can make life shine.
I am the moon; you are the sun, with stars in your eyes I wish you were
mine, even though that can not be, so just one word, one smile, one
laugh, one touch, just that one thing that makes me yours.

Snowing in October

Well Buffalo, New York has broken a record. In the record books in October Buffalo and the Western New York Region has never receievd more then 6in (15.2cm) of snow. In the this year, of 2006, in not more then 12 hours we recieved 24in(70cm) or more. This has caused down utility lines (power, cable, phone etc…). There are down trees all over the place, which has caused these down utility lines, and .5 million people are without power in Western New York.
There is a driving ban for buffalo, which means noone can go anywhere. I walked to the store today, and the street lights were out, store’s power were out, and people were still driving. There were trees laying in the middle of the streets, there was a derailed train, and now three deaths because of this storm.

Nice way to start my week…

Well, since I had noting on Monday, given it was a holiday. My week starts on Tuesday.
After school on my way to GLYS I stopped at Bank Of America to deposit a undisclosed amount of money. I did this, and walked out and got a hotdog from one of those street vendors, which we all know and love. I am standing there adding onions and relish to it and I hear “POP POP POP POP POP POP” There were SIX gun shots in front of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, The Centeral Branch (Where I just happen to work…). I basically got the lady serving the hotdogs down with me, no need for her to get hurt…
What is this city coming to?? You can’t even walk around downtown with out hearing gunshots. These people, who shot the guns, were sixteen or seventeen years of age…
