MySpace, and the law

MySpace is quite a crazy thing. Today, I walked into work and I was told that “A word to the wise, to you, your MySpace, and MySpace blogger friends. What you write and do on MySpace, can and will used against you in the court of law” I was lost, and confused. You may be wonder what I am talking about. Let me explain.
This kid I used to know, but never was friends with him, lets call him Joe. Joe has had problems with the law because of drugs, but he is getting help with it, the best anyone can give him. He goes to school, and has a knife on him. The school decides to over look it since he is a senior, and will be graduating. This is extremely nice of them, but what does Joe do? Joe steals the knife and starts to leave.
So, from my understanding they still look this over, and he just goes to court for the drug related things. He goes to court and they use his MySpace blogs as evidence. Evidence for what? In these blogs he talks about the incident with the knife, and other things about drugs and it shows that he believes the world owes him everything, that he can do no wrong. He does not realize he has a problem, which is drinking one to two bottles of cough syrup to suppress his appetite. Joe does this to lose weight to get into the Army, but that is another story. So, he thinks he does not have a problem and that noting ever will happen to him for anything he does. With the MySpace blogs in-hand, the judge kicked his case from drug court, to criminal court, also seeing that he has a mental issue and needs help.
So the lesson for today? Is watch what you say on the Internet, it can come back to haunt you…

My Night/Week

Howdy Howdy,
I just got home from seeing Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, I seen it Sam, Tigger (From work) and Sam’s bestest friend ever Rhiannon. It was fun, it is the first time I have hung out and did something with Tigger, and/or Rhiannon before. Maybe we can do this for Harry Potter?!?
It was a good movie in my humble opinion. I liked the twists that they had all through them (To get my views go to the bottom and click more…) It was crazy, Will is mad sexy too!
The next movie I am waiting for is Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, which gets releases July 13th 2007. I am also waiting for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)
I am happy I have two days off (Sunday, and Monday) then I am back to the hussel and bussel of working.
If yall want to do anything, let me know!! Two Months and Fifteen Days till the move!

I guess you can never assume what you will get, because I did. I got my grade for my myth class off Angel (A web learning system) and it said I had a 92 or some shit, and today my professor submitted my grade. It is an A. I am sooo surprised!!! woot. I am still pissed about my other class, Comp & Interp of Lit, but what can you do??

I still can’t believe…
May 21st
I still can’t believe school is over for the semester… I did relatively okay grade wise. I was going through files on my PC, because I am reformatting soon. 700 MB of files for school, these are .doc, .ppt, and .pdfs. wtf?? Oh well… I had a great weekend!! I am sorry to see it end. After working for my mother on Saturday, I met up with Kimi, Nolan and Sam at the Library and we headed to the Galleria and spent a couple of hours shopping and talking and causing hell. Nolan and I then slept over Kim’s. That was awesome, then work, the last Sunday . This is all for now, I am off to bed now, I have work at 9am, and its 2 am now…
Two Months and Twenty Days until I move to NH to be with my love. *taps foot waiting for it to be one day*

School is Officially out!! These are my grades, and my calculated GPA’s. I did horribly. I put alot of effort and work into my Lit Class, and I got a B+. Now It was the same for my Comp Class, but why do I feel more upset about the comp class?? Oh well.
