VLog #1 – Updates and a new beginning

My First VLog – Updates and a new beginning from Josh Altemoos on Vimeo.

This is my first VLog, what do you think??

We Remember…

It has been six years.. It has been six years since the worst act of terrorism was committed against America, on America Soil. It has been six years since nineteen hijackers crashed into the World Trade Center (New York), the Pentagon (Washington DC) and the destination is unknown for the last plane most think the White House, or Capitol hill, but the brave souls of Flight 93 prevents the third attack and caused the plane to crash into Pennsylvania.

It has been six short years, and in these six years we have caught many people who organized these attacks, but we have not caught the leader (Osama bin Laden).

In these six years the United States has went to war with another country claiming to be looking for weapons of mass destruction (Nukes, etc..), and to help fight terrorism that may be steaming in Iraq. This is even tho, the president of then Iraq, offered to help America fine Bin Laden. This resulting in more dead, in the way of soldiers then the attacks against America.

Please take your time to remember the souls lost because of September 11th 2001, and the people lost because of the governments actions. They did not deserve to die, many were bystanders, many were Heroes who gave there lives to help others, or gave there lives to give US freedom.

Please remember and never forget what these men and women, our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, our fellow Americans.

Please support our troops, our fire fighters, our police men, our men who risk there lives everyday to make our lives better. Support them even if you do not agree with what they do, they do it because it is there job.

I remember. I remember it all like it was yesterday. I remember where I was when I first heard about the attacks. I remember seeing missing posters, and hearing about reports of dead and wounded. I remember seeing caskets of our fallen heroes. I remember seeing the towers fall and crumble. I remember how I weeped every-time I heard of a fallen hero, a missing person, as I still do now. The thought of men and women dieing in the service of our country still makes me weep. I remember… I remember… IT will be ingrained into my memory for as long as I live. I remember…

Three Years, Two Years, Three Months, One Weekend

Howdy Yall,

Happy September, Happy Third Annual Blog Day and Happy Second Anniversary for my blog!! My first post was roughly around this time too!

I was suppose to go to Maine to Chris’s grandfather’s Oceanside house for the weekend/holiday. I am unable to because of all of his family being there, there is not enough room. They all, including Chris, are coming to visit an out of town relative. That means I am at home all weekend, alone because he has not seen his family relatives in along time. This is the first time I have been alone for any extended period of time without Chris, and I am lonely. But, on the bright side, you would not be getting this post if I was not home!

I have officially been in New Hampshire for three weeks, as of today. YAY!!!

Here are two pictures taken recently of us!! More of my pictures, and some of Chris can be found at WolfNIX.Net/Gallery

I have some updates on the job front as well.

I start working to Stop and Shop, a New England based supermarket chain owned by
Ahold, on Tuesday. I will be working as a Deli Clerk for $8.00 (€5.86, £3.97) an hour for twenty-four hours the first week, and up to thirty hours a week afterwards. This equals roughly $160 (€117.14 £79.36) after taxes the first week.

I also had an interview at TD BankNorth (Owned by Toronoto-Dominion Bank)
on Monday of last week (8/27/2007) and it went well. I have a second interview
next week, date pending the corresponding schedules of the Asst. Manager and
some other bank employee. I am excited at this opportunity to enter the
financial world, given my interest in it and the plans to pursue a career in IT
in the financial world.

Wish Me Luck!!

Peace Out!
